In 2015, our Student Ministry took on the name "Diverge Students." Using Hebrews 10:23-25 as our guide, we seek to encourage 6th-12th graders to grow in their faith, claim it as their own, and put into practice in their lives, church, and communities. Whether worshipping together, praying for each other, serving our community, or hanging out after a football game, Diverge Student Ministry exists to remind students who God is, what He's done for us through Jesus, and how those truths should change our lives.

Student Ministry Fall Programming

Sunday 9:30-10:20am // Grades 6 - 12 // Sunday School

Our Middle and High School Sunday School classes gather together at 9:30 in our Student Ministry Room and then split up for a smaller group experience. Sunday School is a great opportunity to explore core spiritual truths to develop and amplify a vibrant faith that lasts! 

Sunday 5:00-6:30pm // Grades 6-12 // Student Music Sundays

Come make a joyful noise unto the Lord (Psalm 100)! Whether what you make is more joyful or noise, there's a place for you to worship through music in our Student Handbell groups and Choir. These groups lead in worship throughout the year and gather with other churches at a Choir Festival in Hilton Head each spring. Whatever your musical skill, come be a part of worship through song!

Join our Student Ministry on Sunday nights for food, fun, and worship!


This fall we'll be unpacking what it means to be a Christian. In an age where Christianity seems to be all about cultural arguments and personal agendas, we'll look at how ancient Christians deal with those same problems and discovered the truth that unites us in joy, peace, and hope!

Wednesdays 6:00-7pm // Grades 6 - 12 // HABITS

Wednesday Nights at 6 join us as we focus on the HABITS that build up a life of faith. We'll focus during these times on Spending Time with God, Spending Time with Others, Knowing and Using Your Gifts, and Sharing Your Story.
