I could not be more excited for Fuge 2026 and how God is going to move in the lives of our students! Below you'll find all the information you need for a successful week, but before you get there, as you're reading this, I want to ask you to take a moment to pause and ask God to begin right now working in your heart or the heart of your student. Whatever needs to be nourished and strengthened in you, pray He'll strengthen. Whatever needs to be pruned or reshaped, let Him prune. Come into this week expectant about all that God can do in this time.

Amen

When are we leaving? We'll leave the church at 1:30 on Monday, June 15. Please arrive at the church between 1-1:10 to pack and handle any last minute logistics.

When are we returning? We'll leave North Greenville between 11 and 11:30 on Saturday, June 20 which will put our eta in Laurens around 1pm.

Who are the chaperones and how do I contact them?

  • Our Adult chaperones are Andrew Corley, Craig Little, Jake Cooper, Kris Hornberger, Jeff Brink, Kevin Werts, Cathy Little, Leigh Little, Anna Ottosen, Jennifer Young, and Ashley Bragg.
  • College chaperones are: Owen Pridgen, Carson England, Hayden Wham, Hadden Martin, Madelyn Orcutt, Mattie Dasher, and Brooke Werts.
  • Andrew can be reached at (864) 923-5841. Parents who have not yet done so are encouraged to text "fuge parent" to (833) 205-5053 for the most frequent updates

Where Will We Be Staying? We'll be housed in dorms at North Greenville University. Dorms are suite style, two students to a room, four to a bathroom.

What do I need to pack? The official Fuge Camp packing list can be found in the Parent's pack. We have alarm clocks available for students to use at camp if they need them.

What are our Theme Days and why do we do them? Theme days promote unity, take the hassle out of packing, and make our group easy to spot at camp. Our Themes for this year's camp are:

  • Monday - Orange Diverge Shirt
  • Tuesday - Tropical Tuesday (Hawaiian Shirt)
  • Wednesday - Pink
  • Thursday - Black
  • Friday - New Diverge Shirt
  • Saturday - Fuge Shirt

What is Mega Relay and what do I need to pack for it? Mega relay is a relay race that takes place Friday night. Students will participate with their Bible Study groups. This year's mega theme is "camo." Friday's shirt will fit the theme and face paint and bandannas will be available for students. Other items (that meet dress code) may be brought from home. No full face coverings are allowed

What About Cell Phones? Upon arrival to camp students will be asked to turn in their cell phones to be kept in a central location during the day. The goal of keeping students' phones is both to help them take a "digital sabbath" during this week and be able to be fully present in all they do and to keep phones from being lost. Students will have access to their phones to call home each night. Andrew and the other chaperones will have their phones on them at all times and can be reached if needed.

Do I need Money? You'll need to bring money for three things: Group Snacks, Missions Offering, and Fuge Store/Other Expenses

  • Group Snacks - everyone is asked to bring $10 to contribute toward the snack fund. This money will be collected Monday at check-in
  • Missions Offering - Over the course of the week our students will learn about missionaries and field personnel from the International and North American Missions Board. An offering for these groups will be taken up on Friday. If you would like to turn in missions money on Monday to make sure it doesn't end up in the register at Chick Fil A you may do so.
  • Fuge Store/Other Expenses - the Fuge store has shirts, hats, and other merchandise for sale. Additionally there is a Chick Fil A on NGU's campus as well as NGU's own campus store. All meals are included in the cost of camp so these expenses are completely voluntary.

Are There Rules We all Need to Talk About? The parent pack has a page that details actions that may result in dismissal. I'll add to those that FBC has a zero tolerance policy for anything that can be considered sexual harassment, particularly as it relates to students in bathrooms. Do not go into a bathroom if you a know another student is in the shower unless they have given you permission.

I can't wait for you and/or your student to be a part of Fuge next week! I think you'll come away knowing why, for so many of our students, it truly is the Best Week Ever!
